Laptop Drives Reach 1TB in Hard Drive Storage

Laptop hard drive memory has just been raised from 500GB to 1TB, thanks to 333GB per platter technology and Western Digital with their release of the Scorpio Blue 1TB and Scorpio Blue 750GB. The largest desktop currently stores 2TB with a 3.5-inch drive compared to 2.5 inches for a laptop drive. This new drive is 3mm thicker than other laptop drives with their normal thickness of 9.5mm.
